In the basement of the Casa de Balboa Building in Balboa Park, there is an exceptional and huge miniature train display.  The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is one of the world’s largest model railroad displays. There are both HO and N scale displays, and there are many humorous things hidden in the worlds created there if you look hard enough.  Fun for kids and adults.
